Canskate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program for beginners of all ages. Whether you wish to become a figure skater, play hockey or ringette, or learn to skate just for fun,  learn basic skating skills and fundamental movements with the Canskate program. With emphasis on fun and participation, Canskate is taught in group format by NCCP Certified Professional Coaches assisted by trained Program Assistants.

 With awards and incentives to keep young skaters interested and motivated, skaters earn badges as they develop their skills and progress through the seven stages of Canskate. Canskate is the feeder program to all other Skate Canada Programs.
